Was walking down the street here in Nishi-Shinjuku and saw this open truck with what seemed to be an earthquake simulator. There were lines of Japanese men in business attire and hardhats waiting to get in this truck and crawl under the table while the truck rocked back and forth violently. Sorry about the blur but I was laughing when I took the shot.














Meanwhile, there was a real emergency happening right next to this. A woman was passed out on the ground and was being tended to by paramedics. No one was paying any attention to this incident, actually most people seemed to be going out of their way to make sure that they were not paying attention, but instead were laughing at the man under the tables, simulating an emergency!
